*HAUNTINGLY YOURS, LADY LYNDY*

Each of the Four Sacred Seasons: Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumnal Equinox & Winter Solstice, Dear Lady Lyndy will present for your viewing pleasure answers to your questions received through blogging comments &/or email.

The Winter Solstice has brought forth the celebration of Holiday Magic. With Winter in full swing it's time for Lady Lyndy's next seasonal Topic:
HALLOWEEN OOAK ART WORK & THE IMPORTANCE OF INTERNET BLOG LINKING

DEAR LADY LYNDY,
What is LINKING?
STACY FROM BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS

DEAR STACY FROM BOSTON MASSACHUSETTS,
LINKING is an act of love or friendship, of peace & understanding & of genuine compassion for ourselves & others. In the Blogging World, LINKING is adding someone's Blogsite or Website with URL attachments. Basically for the same reasons being an act of friendship & kindness to help promote one another. LINKS can also be helpful for reference, ads & PR placements.

****************************

DEAR LADY LYNDY,
Is it a good idea to just add LINKS or is it better to trade LINKS?
ANOTHER MARTHA

DEAR ANOTHER MARTHA,
Personally, I believe it is better to trade links. If you're just adding links with zero LINK BACKS & you're an entrepreneur I see zero benefits for your business. The importance of LINKING, is the reciprocal LINK exchange. A LINK for a LINK means a revolving PROMOTIONAL DOOR for both parties.

****************************

DEAR LADY LYNDY,
Do you think URL LINKING has any social benefits?
BARB TALLAHASSEE FL

DEAR BARB TALLAHASSEE FL,
Yes, URL LINKING is a great social networking tool. Many people look forward to meeting & greeting friends on their Blogsites. Especially when various private group communications are either closed or have excessive rules for communications. I have met wonderful International friends because of my open Blogsite. I hope to LINK many new friends & artists this New Year.

****************************

DEAR LADY LYNDY,
How does LINKING help sell my art work especially when LINKING helps to promote others?
TONY THE TIGER

DEAR TONY THE TIGER,
That's the whole point! Unlike auction or private online groups, LINKING on Blogsites are indexed because of search engines like Google. MEANING your LINK for a LINK has provided the search engines with a multitude of way's for your art work to be seen by millions. Not just one on one. So in actuality a LINK for a LINK is creating endless way's for everyone LINKED to your Blogsite &/or Website to be seen by the world. Which in turn provides new & returning friends & clients/customers. It's a definite WIN ~ WIN!!!

****************************

DEAR LADY LYNDY,
I have two beautiful black cats Cleopatra & Morticia. How can I find LINKS to Blogsites that cater solely to the black cat lover & that would be me.
JENNY KAYE

DEAR JENNY KAYE,
Glad your feeling better & looking for fun Black Cat Blogsites. That's a very good question! That's why Blogsites should trade LINKS for LINKS. So many wonderful people like Jenny can than find the fun Black Cat Blogsites or Magical Sites through the revolving door LINKS. Jenny, just keep touring through the wonderful LINKS I've provided & you'll be amazed at the fun Blogsites with Black Cats that will cross your path. Give your black cat beauties Cleopatra & Morticia a big kiss from me.

REMEMBER THE WORLD IS JUST A LINK AWAY!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS & HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD

*MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE*
While adding our finishing touches for a wonderful festive celebration of a beautiful holiday, I realized that the television playing in the background had nothing but boring reruns. What happened to the holiday specials? One of the TV stations even had a fireplace with logs burning while playing Christmas carols. I remember that sort of programing a couple of decades ago... What happened to the fun joyous specials of yesteryear? Ahhhhhhhh, must be the writers strike! The networks should rerun the fun programs or favorite classic movies of all time.

Will thank goodness for a couple of my dear friends & fellow artist's CHRISTOPHER KLINGLER & CAROLEE CLARK. They have tagged me to share MY FAVE 25 MOVIES OF ALL TIME. Perfect timing because these make great DVD Christmas & New Year stocking stuffer gifts too. AND now with the holiday music playing through our home we also have fabulous movies for everyone.

I could share my top 100 favorite movies but I'll keep to the 25 by only adding my favorite all time classic movies. With all the celebrations, it's like a great big hug from those that cannot be here for the holidays. But most of all it's wonderful memories of sharing laughter & tears with those I love & hold so dear past & present.

Just click your ruby red slippers together three times & say 'There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home'...

*STAR WARS FILM TRIVA ABOUT 'THE FORCE' WHICH WAS ACTUALLY BASED ON REAL LIFE FORCE & SORCERY*
The Force is one of the most recognizable elements of the Star Wars series. It is described by Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars film as, "An energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us & binds the galaxy together." Those who can use the Force, such as the Jedi, can perform feats of telepathy, psychokinesis, prescience, clairvoyance & mental control. In addition, they can use the force to amplify certain traits, for example: amplifying their reflexes enough to use a lightsaber to bounce lasers back at the target that fired them. The light side of the Force is the facet aligned with good, benevolence & healing. The dark side of the Force is aligned with fear, hatred, aggression & malevolence.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU, ALWAYS!

AND PLAY IT AGAIN SAM OR SHOULD I SAY SANTA:
BECKY FEDERICO
SUZANNE URBAN
JODI CREAGER
*CHRISTMAS MAGIC*
Christmas waves a magic wand over this world,
AND BEHOLD, everything is softer & more beautiful.
