New York in darkness from Hurricane Sandy. The lights on the Brooklyn Bridge stand in contrast to the lower Manhattan skyline which has lost its electrical supply Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, after megastorm Sandy swept through New York. We're still trying to contact our immediate family located in Manhattan.
Hoboken, New Jersey. A parking lot full of yellow cabs is flooded as a result of Superstorm Sandy. This looks surreal.
Seaside Heights, New Jersey (Jersey Shores). Authorities said Tuesday in assessing the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy that residents of many shore communities won't even recognize their towns when they return. Houses swept onto high ways, amusement rides swallowed by the ocean & iconic boardwalks obliterated. Shocking!!!

It is very sad that Halloween 2012 millions of American families are without power & are struggling just to keep warm & safe.
