Hello Lyndy, these really are amazing Paul Newman facts.

I was just Googling Paul Newman & found your amazing blog. I must say that I didn't know most of those complete details about one of my favorite Hollywood hunks. Your tribute is one of the best on the Internet. The photo's are excellent too.

Thank you for taking the time to post such a cool remembrance of an amazing guy. Like you said he was such a giving gentleman. Not like most of today's celebrities that are drug addicts & boozers. Only a small minority take the time to become Humanitarians that are selfless givers like Paul & his lovely wife Joanne were. Will, Joanne & their family still are.

The world lost a gracious guy. I hope his goodness rubs off on more celebrities.

Best Regards, Sammy Jacob

Hi Lyndy,
Mr. Newman and his family were a gift to the town of Westport. I grew up in Westport and knew early on how fortunate we were to have his spirited compassion and tireless energy backing valuable community causes.

My hope is that the younger Hollywood generation will heed his advice and use his life as an example on how to lead theirs.

Hi Sammy, thanks for your comment.

Yes, Paul Newman was a giving gracious gentleman. AND I totally agree not like most of today's celebrities. Hopefully more & more people will become Humanitarians & give anything back they can to our planet.

Even saving water & recycling can help make our Mother Earth a better place.

Love & Light,

Hi Suzanne, thanks for your comment, I'm always happy to hear from you.

Wow, how lucky to have had Paul Newman & Joanne Woodward live in your community of Westport Connecticut. I bet they were the pride & joy of Westport. I'm sure they backed most every hometown cause the ever was. I've already read that his beautiful wife Joanne & family will carry on his wonderful giving tradition.

Like I said earlier, hopefully more & more people will become Humanitarians & give anything back they can to our planet. Even saving water & recycling can help make our Mother Earth a better place.

The 21st century life as we know it has changed drastically. After this last stock market crash & bank failures, every human has had to take a long hard look at what's important. I truly believe everything happens for a reason.

Everyone has to be accountable for our planets fate. So I agree with you about young Hollywood, but I would add that everyone should follow Paul Newman's example on how to lead their lives. Like Nancy Reagan said: "Say no to drugs!" AND, I personally feel there is no level of being gracious & giving. Paying it forward should be a way of life. In person, it could be just a smile or hug to brighten someone's day. On the Internet, a positive comment always helps to see the world in a better light.

Peace, Love & Light,
Lyndy

it's hard not to admire Paul Newman for putting his money to work in such productive ways, such as his Newman's Own line--high quality stuff and the proceeds go to good causes... very smart.
